IMG Pharma has participated in the work “Subcellular specificity of cannabinoid effects in striatonigral circuits” recently published in the international peer-reviewed journal NEURON , which is among the top international journals in terms of impact factor
This study shows that activation of a receptor at different subcellular locations in the same neuronal circuit can determine distinct behaviors.
The work has been carried out in collaboration with the research group on ” Endocannabinoids and Neuroadaptation,”, of INSERM (France), led by Dr. Giovanni Marsicano, international renowned expert, joining thus to a long list of first level scientific publications whose main author is Dr. Gabriel Barreda Gómez, CSO of our company.
