Tknika is a centre promoted by the Deputy Ministry of Vocational Education and Training of the Education Department of the Basque Government.
Innovation and applied research are at the core of Tknika in its ongoing efforts to place Basque Vocational Training at the European forefront. The main goal is to transfer the innovation and applied research to the teachers of the Centers and through it to the initial training students and workers, as well as to the business network.
Tknika’s work is divided into five areas: Applied Innovation in the field of Vocational Education and Training, Entrepreneurship and Change of Management, Research on Learning Methods and Processes, Internationalisation in the field of Vocational Education and Training and Continuous Improvement area.
The lines of work that Tknika develops within Bic Bizkaia are summarized in the following areas of activity:
- Promotion of entrepreneurship among Vocational Training students, and subsequent resulting incubation of business initiatives in the infrastructures offered by Bic Bizkaia.
- To contribute to the economic and social development of the Basque Country.
