The AUSARTA project is the brainchild of Alain Arteagabeitia, a multiple sclerosis sufferer, who, through his association Ama, Txo! seeks to get people with mobility difficulties involved in sport.
AUSARTA is made up of a multidisciplinary team of professionals whose aim is to teach people with reduced mobility the tools they can use to improve their daily lives.
Among the different professionals that make up the AUSARTA team are two BIC Bizkaia projects:
- VRainHax by Gorka de la Red, aimed at the rehabilitation of various pathologies thanks to Virtual Reality. With this technology, people suffering from some kind of mobility difficulty are able to carry out rehabilitation while immersed in a virtual world, which makes it easier, more enjoyable and consequently more effective.
- Drone by Drone, with Ander Garcia at the head, achieve through their drones flights with first-person vision, providing a totally immersive and therapeutic experience for the mind.
