The Provincial Government is working with Aleovitro on a trial to select wild hops to produce zero-kilometre beer.

The collaboration between the Provincial Council and the biotechnological company will consist of planting and growing different varieties of hops at the Zalla Fruit Growing Station to determine if they are suitable and adapted to the commercial production systems of the brewing and commercial production systems of the brewing sector and cider producers.
