IMG Pharma has recently published the work “Analysis of Acetylcholinesterase Activity in Cell Membrane Microarrays of Brain Areas as a Screening Tool to Identify Tissue Specific Inhibitors” in the international peer-reviewed journal Analytica (https://doi.org/10.3390/ analytica2010003).
This article describes a High Throughput Screening platform for the analysis of acetylcholinesterase inhibitors, based on the company’s proprietary technology, cell membrane microarrays.
The work has been carried out in collaboration with the research group on “Neuropsychopharmacology of Pain and Addictions”, of the UPV / EHU, led by Dr. María Torrecilla Sesma, and with Marina Gulak, of the Hospital de Cruz Roja Bilbao, joining thus to a long list of scientific publications whose main author is Dr. Gabriel Barreda Gómez, CSO of our company.
These publications in prestigious international peer-reviewed journals contribute to the visibility of the scientific-technical excellence of this Biscayan company, located in BIC BIZKAIA, an incubator specialized in bio-micro-nano technologies, advanced manufacturing and clean technologies, promoted by the Basque Government and the Council of Biscay, and managed by Beaz.
