International interest for the BIC Bizkaia incubator and its companies

The day “Challenges and sanitary applications of 3D printing” gathered, on April 3, experts from different areas of the biosciences sector and medical applications, in BIC Bizkaia.
Ainara Basurko, general director of Beaz, started the meeting, which included two round tables, focused on technology and materials, and present and future applications, respectively.
The last part of the event was devoted to the exposition of the current regulatory problem for the sanitary application of this type of technology, and concluded with the intervention of Olatz Goitia, director of entrepreneurial transformation of Beaz, who among the general conclusions of the day highlighted , the new healthcare situation for the personalization of interventions and treatments of regenerative medicine that 3D printing brings, and the great opportunity for new business that is glimpsed in the field of personalized health products.
