{"id":4832,"date":"2022-05-02T09:14:53","date_gmt":"2022-05-02T07:14:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bicbizkaia.eus\/?p=4832"},"modified":"2022-05-02T09:40:20","modified_gmt":"2022-05-02T07:40:20","slug":"img-pharma-new-publication-in-scientific-journal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bicbizkaia.eus\/en\/2022\/05\/02\/img-pharma-new-publication-in-scientific-journal\/","title":{"rendered":"IMG PHARMA new publication in scientific journal"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>IMG Pharma has published the article \u201cAnalysis of Mitochondrial Function in Cell Membranes as Indicator of Tissue Vulnerability to Drugs in Humans\u201d in the special issue \u201cState-of-the-Art Drug Discovery and Development in Spain\u201d of the peer-reviewed international journal \u201cBiomedicines (<a href=\"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.3390\/biomedicines10050980\">https:\/\/doi.org\/10.3390\/biomedicines10050980<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>The article addresses the early detection of the side effects of various drugs with antidepressant, antipsychotic, anticholinergic, narcotic and analgesic properties, evaluating these effects in animal and human tissues, thanks to the cell membrane microarray technology from IMG PHARMA BIOTECH.<\/p>\n<p>The work has been carried out in collaboration with the UPV\/EHU&#8217;s &#8220;Neuropsychopharmacology of Pain and Addictions&#8221; research group, led by Dr. Mar\u00eda Torrecilla Sesma, and the &#8220;Development and degeneration of the nervous system&#8221; research group, from the IBGM-UVA-CSIC, leaded by Drs.
