The Group has an innovation unit called TUBACEX Innovation, with a team specialized in researching new components and developing innovation projects for the different industrial plans of the Group’s companies.<\/p>\n
The R&D laboratory was opened in 2014 at the Zamudio Technology Park to accelerate the development of the R&D unit in skills such as metallurgical knowledge and mechanical behavior and corrosion of materials, a key element in the development of new products and processes. It has a team of professionals specialized in R&D and has a wide range of analytical techniques of the latest generation; these include a fully automated microdurometer, optical microscopy and high resolution electronics, with advanced image analysis software combined with an X-ray spectrometer for chemical composition analysis, supported by a detailed investigation of material characterization.
